If we are talking Hering here..
What prop has the least amount of vibration? 5 6 or 7 bl.
( hubbed style ) |
Theoredically there is less vibration with 7 blades.
However, variables involving the load on the high pressure side of the blade has to be concidered. X dimention water quality are issues that can affect this. Brett |
Might as well have 2 sets of props :lolhit:. I'm going to go the Hering route for the second set (incase I brake a prop.) Thanks Brett. And thanks foir the hook up on the props :D

Your welcome,
Let me know if you need help with the Hering props. We are a authorized sales and repair facility for them. Our pricing might surprise you. Also, before concidering 7 blade propellers, I would want to talk to you about it. Thanks, Brett |
I'm guessing my X might not be high enough for 7 bl. There's a set of 6 bl in the classifieds for 2700

Why so cheap?????? hmmmmm
6 blades have a ton of stern lift too. I believe 95% of all applications will run their best with 4 or 5 blades when set up correctly. Brett Dosen't mean they wont work and that testing shouldn't be done. I always tell people to test every propeller they have the opportunity to test |
Stern lift might be what I need to get on the two steps as much as possible. I do want less cupping to make my drives endure less pain ! :lolhit: > I might have a set to try at desert storm.. If they work I may be going on the Prop rental program w you
