tried new prop today
Brand new Bravo 4 blade 30 pitch satin finished labbed.
Boat ran well, got on plane ok but a bit sluggish midrange 73-75 mph gps Nordic Heat with XR/ITS, merc 525 should redline at 5300 Is it possible to work this prop to get 700 rpm's more out of it? |

oops... left out the important part.
4500-4600 rpm trimmed to where boat runs best I could trim to the sky and get 5000 but the boat was way too loose and not running efficiently. |
Because you are running rather efficiant now, 100-200 more rpm can be gained depending on the current Lab recipe.
It looks like a 28 would be a better pitch choice at this point. Brett |
That's exactly what I was thinking

Sounds like we need to trade, I have a 28 that I bought from BBlades that doesn't even have a season on it that's in mint condition. I rebuilt my motor last season, so I lost the whole summer, but now the 28 is too small. Send me a PM if your interested.

Swapped the labbed 30 for a labbed 28. Perfect!
|
What do you want for your 30?

I no longer have it. My prop guy took it back and gave me a labbed 28. Sorry.
