Towing prop help

Hello, I have a 1997 Stingray 230SX (yes I know this is a lake boat) and I currently run a 25p Mirage+ (came with boat). Runs good top end (68 at about 4600rpm heavy and due for plugs and wires. Many people go 72 at optimum RPM in good conditions and lighter) so this is good for top end for me. But it washes out on turns sometimes and planes ok, but not great.

I am looking for a prop that planes more quickly for towing as I would like to wakeboard and ski off this boat and be able to keep tration in turns and hold slower speeds on plane. Currently it is nearly impossible to hold at 19-20mph since I am only at about 2000rpm or less at those speeds so it slows on any waves and takes a bit to get back up to speed but then easily overshoots (sinse once on plane it likes to go) and you get the idea. I do have trim tabs which help, but I think a more suited prop would be ideal. I am ok with swapping from one prop to another based on the days activities. Plus I don't have a spare so a second prop makes sense. Also should note that when towing I typically run heavy with 3+ guys, gear and stocked coolers...I am not looking for everything to be perfect, just a good prop for my needs. I am ok with losing a couple MPH up top as I will not need to go fast when towing. I was thinking a 4 blade with a 23p of some sort. Looking at REV4 and Solas HR Titan 4 or HR4. Not looking to spend a ton. I have been doing a lot of research, but sometimes hearing other opinions is better.

Thanks

High five?

Rev 4 for best of all worlds. High 5 for water sports specific. Other 4 blade small diameter Turbo props will work too. We do have these for testing.

Thanks. Any recomendation on pitch for these?

General rule of thumb, decrease pitch by 2" for the water sports prop.
Call us and we can go through things. Trust me, there are things..........

Thanks Brett. I will probably give you a ring as we get closer to the season...maybe sooner to avoid the rush :)

Do you take trades?

Typically no.
We do sell some propellers for clients on consignment but it is usually high dollar stuff.
