Need advice. 2000 38AVS, 502's need props... 26? 4 blade? Thanks!

Are your 502's the original 502 mag mpi 415hp (black) motors? Look like this?

26 4-blades should be a good starting point. Mine came with labbed 30's, 4-blades (500 HP Merc Bulldogs and extension boxes.). Good luck.

Mark, it's Matt. The props on the boat should be what came from the factory.

Is that hull that efficient that it can spin 26 Bravos in the correct RPM range with just stock 502's? If so, that's impressive.

As a suggestion ,before you spend a lot of money on new props send the props off to B-Blades and have them labbed .26,s came from the factory and they run very well with that AVS hull. Very happy with mine !!!
