242 LS prop question

I have a newly purchased Formula 242LS. The boat has a mark IV bowtie 502 mag and 1.50 :1 bravo 1. It came with 3 props.
Per the P.O.:
Top speed prop- Turbo 3 blade M14 1/2x24P
All around prop - Mirage plus 3 blade 48-13704 23P
Tubing/kneeboarding- Hydromotive 4 blade HC-CL24R Q-IV

I have only tried the mirage so far. Wot gets 5200-5300 rpm at 62 mph gps. This prop is super sensative to trim. One click too much and it busts loose.

I think it is safer to keep the rpm's closer to 5000, right?
Which of the three would you run?

Thanks for your input in advance!

Hello, I suggest trying al;l three props and letting us have your feedback on them. I think we can help. Yes, 5000-5200 is perfect.

Fischan,

If this was my boat, I would add a inch of pitch to your Mirage via cup since the slip % is high and you will gain speed due to the growth in efficiency. Your trim will also greatly improve with this modification. We do all our adjusting and Lab Finishing in house so we can literally but up the minute with finding or questions during your project.
As far as a water sports propeller, I'd go down in pitch for better pulling power and stay with a 4 blade. My first suggestion would be a 21 pitch Revolution 4.
You have a great group of propellers for testing and enough options to stay on the water this summer. Some dialing in will definitely help.

After some seat time with all 3 props i figured i would update this. The results are as follows.
-23p mirage+ 62.9 mph@5200rpm

It seems sluggish to plane with more than 4 people in the boat but once on plane it responds well with trim and carries the bow well. A little tab at slower cruising speed keeps the porpoise in check.

-24p turbo 58.9@5200 rpm

This feels like the smoothest ride and best handleing with the compromise of a few mph. It did not carry the bow as well as the mirage+. But did plane faster with a crew of 4 adults, 1 teen, 1 5 yo, and 2 dogs. Yes it was a bit cramped that day!

4 blade 24p quad IV 45 ish@5200 rpm

This was the worst prop by far. It planed out fast but couldnt pull the bow out of the warer at all. It is currently for sale. Pm me if you are looking for one.

Lab and add a small addition amount of cup to the 23 M+ in the precise locations and you should pick up 1-2 and plane faster.
