Hey Brett I went with the rev 4 21p I was tapping the rev @ 4900 I am now trying the bravo 1 @ 22p

nailit 07-02-2013 09:33 AM

how did it ride with the 21 rev4?? mine loved it.. but couldn't find a 23 to try.. you may try that.. I ended up finding a 22b1 up pitched a to 23 that I found that worked good overall.. Got my cruise to 49-50 at 4k even with load where my 23 m+ would start slipping running 47-48. The 21rev 4 was also tapping rev at 5200 so you might be able to push the 23rev 4.. it really got my boat out the water just ran out of rpms.

The Revolution 4 have 5 degrees more rake and a slightly smaller diameter. These things aid in the bow lifting the Baja hulls crave. The Bravo 1 propeller will absolutely work but it really shines after it is adjusted to carry the bow better.

We have a test program that allows you to test without buying. Of course the Revolution 4 series props including the 23 are available to test with.
Let me know if this might interest you.

I was immediately impressed with the rev 4 out of the and was quite better . I had 4 people and 3/4 tank ran 63 WOT. Then buy myself I hit 64 and started tapping the rev limiter. Trying the bravo 1 22p just waiting for it to come in.

Brett what do mean by being adjusted to carry the bow better? And what I need to do .

nailit 07-02-2013 08:16 PM

He will tell you, but have to kill you..lol

I believe the B1 is a good prop but really shine when labbed.. I guess he adds some rake and cup to lift and hold the bow up which allows the Baja to run more efficiently and thus faster.. sounding like a commercial now! Lol

Lol well it looks like I'm going to have to send it to him so he can work his magic. But I'm gonna test it out first hopefully I will have it by Friday.

jds 07-02-2013 08:26 PM

Definitely need to get that bow up on it.

nailit 07-02-2013 08:49 PM

Go to their website, there is a form that you will need to fill out along with your test data you need to get when testing the prop.

We have done many Baja Outlaw 25's with both the 496 HO, and the 415 MPI's. In both cases we used a cut down 4 blade that lifts the tail, but also carries the bow quite nicely. There was an article in Family & Performance Boating Magazine a few years back called"Baja Prop Swap". We beat out the customers Mirage in all areas. Your boat should run 67-70 mph propped correctly.

If you are interested in details, please call 330-425-4266.

Thanks,

Thom

Lets see it, put your money where your mouth is....

I have a stock Twin 496Mags, with all kinds of GPS numbers... make it go faster and better.... I will buy props.. not .5-1 mph faster. lets see 3mph or more both cruise and WOT.
