32 fever prop info

Put stock 454 340-350 Hp motors back in ran 25 3 blade mirage props on it ran fine but to many rpm.Changed and put on 27 3 blade mirage props on gained some speed and got my rpm at about5100 rpm I can live with that. Now I need to find a prop that I won't loose what I have but give me some bow lift any suggestions. This is a non step boat with bravo's 1.50.1 on it.Happy with everything just would like to get some bow lift.Boat cruises fine at about 3000 rpm Thanks JOHN SR

Which way you spinning? IN or OUT?

Fenderjack 08-17-2013 05:14 PM

out

Try IN! It lifted mine out the water and carried the bow well.
It also reponded better to trim and didn't blow out like it does OUT.
Might help if your where you want to be in rpms already without labbing first.

Stern is light now when I'm in it just need to find a prop with some bow lift.If I turn them in it will be much to light in the stern.I know there is a prop out there just don't know where to start so I don't loose what I have.I can carry the bow just got to put drives to far out,bad on joints ect. Thanks JOHN SR

When I spoke to bblades (Brett) about my Baja, turning in is naturally adding leveraging to the transom to get the bow up.

On mine, I was getting the same effect as being trimmed past neutral turning OUT as i was getting below neutral turning them IN. So you will not have to trim as much!

Its probably your first move b/c m+ props like we have are already bow lifting props. So if you wanted them out, labbing would be the solution. Or you could try rev 4's? Not sure how big they go in pitch.. thinking 25 is Max on that one, but good bow lifter!

If your looking for more bow lift in a box stock 4 blade you might want to look at our Quad IV X's. These are designed as bow lifting 4 blades with great cruise speed and hole shot as compared to 3 blades. Top end is excellent. We would be glad to discuss your application with you.

3 blade Mirages that are hooked up well will create more bow lift than any stock 4 blade prop.
This is because they create less stern lift.

Thanks Brett these 3 blades REALLY run great just can't seem to carry the bow unless trimmed out a good bit. But I can live with it.And I don't want to get into labbed props or the price. Thanks JOHN SR
