BBLADES Heads to Key West

BBLADES Off To See The Worlds And Key West Poker Run

October 28, 2013

BBLADES is heading South in November to the home of Hemingway and the six-toed kitty cats, but our motive isn’t literary or animal husbandry. We’ll be on-hand assisting and cheering on the various race teams running BBLADES props during the 35th Annual Key West Offshore World Championships and attending the 21st running of the Florida Powerboat Club’s Key West Poker Run November 5th-11th.

Once again this year we’ll be displaying at the Poker Run Village adjacent to the Key West Marina, showing our complete line of signature BBLADES propellers, accessories and apparel and answering questions about improving the performance and handling of your boat. As many boating enthusiasts as racers or poker runners attend what has become the go-fast boating Mecca to get out of the cold, see old friends, and gawk at keywestheader2013one of the most impressive fleets of hardware you’ll see in one place. If you make it down, be sure to stop by and say “hello;” you’ll find us near the brand new 52-foot Hardin Marine trailer, which is difficult to miss. Hope to see you there!

Are you bringing down any test props? :)

bbladesprops 10-28-2013 02:39 PM

We are only bringing display propellers.
However, we can ship test props down for anyone who wishes to do some testing during that week.

Brett, See you down there. Thanks for your personal attention and for doing my props so fast last week.

sonicss42 10-28-2013 03:46 PM

Can I bring props with me for you to take back to shop for labbing. Saves some shipping costs.

302Sport 10-28-2013 03:52 PM

If I give you a ride in the boat, does it make the process of labbing easier for you to figure with RPM, etc...???

It is much easier to read the gauges if you are actually in the boat.

sonicss42,
I wish I could but then I'd have to put them in my suitcase. We aren't bring the trailer down so I don't have anyplace to put them.
Sorry about that.

302Sport,

Getting the exact performance data correct to determine the best recipe is critical. Unfortunately, past experiences down here for this weekend tells me my ability to get on the water wouldn't be till Monday. Unfortunately I'll be gone by then.
Thank you for the offer though as it would not only be informative, it would be fun!
Below I have attached a link to BBLADES printable test performance sheet. Take this in the boat with you and we can discuss the numbers after you attain them.

Thanks again for the offer.

That's OK. I'll stop by and discuss my needs and your solutions.

That sounds great. I look forward to seeing you.
I'll be at the village Fri. and Sat. all day.

Key West was great, fun, interesting and enlightening.

Thank you to all the people who stopped by to say hi and ask great questions.
It was especially great to see and talk to customers that ranged back in the 20 year category.

But, it was great to meet and discuss set ups with new performance boaters just getting in to the sport. That may have been the best part as it was SO motivating to see the passion that I / we have here at BBLADES, moving and growing!

Wow.

All of us at BBLADES thank you and look forward to the future and the big things coming down the pike.
Stay tuned!

Was looking forward to meeting you, me and my wife walked threw but missed you. Maybe we can get you up to Boyne Thunder this summer.

bbladesprops 11-12-2013 03:20 PM

I literally just got off the phone with one of the organizers of Boyne Thunder.
Sorry we missed each other. Darn. I try to stay at the booth the entire time but occasionally I leave for a few moments to eat or use the bathroom. Or I do get pulled away for certain reasons.
Thank you coming by though.

Brett
