Brett,

Props rotate in. That was explained to Brad. He specifically stated to swap and rotate out to reduce stern lift. That's counter to anything I've read/learned. Maybe he misunderstood. I'll call you.

It was nice talking with you last week. We'll look to see the propellers.

Brett

I have Donzi's test data. Accordingly, they did 104 @ 5250 with the same 5 blade Merc prop... 15% slip. The 6b prop I'm around 16 to 17% slip but it gets loose over 80. I'm working with Bret @ BBlades. I'm going to do the whipple stage 3 kit and then in spring I'll get into props and drive spacers to get it dialed in. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks Brett. Talk soon. The 5b props will go out this week.

Listen to Brett... They know their stuff!

You also should ask around as someone in your area could help you out with a few pointers in driving and trimming the boat. A boat with any SSM drive is much different than a Bravo and the way you drive and trim is very different. If you really want to get the most out of it and probably get some money off your insurance you might consider taking Tres Martin's course next spring. I was a long time boater with several 100 MPH boats under my belt before I bought my cat and was required to take the course and I would definitely suggest it to anyone who is driving their first HP boat. Especially one with SSM drives and capable of 100+ MPH. It may be a little expensive on the front end but it is way cheaper than getting hurt.

I already spoke to Tres and I'm going to take his course but it was suggested to do the improvement first before taking the course. I'm figuring the power and prop changes will affect handling characteristics.
