prop rotation - performance difference when rotating inward vs outward

I need to know what the differences I should see in speed and general boat handling if I change the rotation on a 32 Sutphen with twin 502's and 26P Bravo one props from rotating outward like they do now, to rotating them inward. Heard they pick pick up speed as it may lift the bow. makes sense. Thanks for any help.

As you assumed, the transom will become more leveraged and the bow will carry higher. The down side is the bow can become too loose or flighty in quartering seeas. Also reverse thrust can become compromised. In that case positive trim angles although opposite of train of thought can help the reverse maneuverability since the thrust is moving more below the transom.

It is definitely worth trying. This is where you can flip the props and shift to reverse to test without changing the cables.
