Back when I had my 402 Formula I tried them. There is a local prop shop about 20 min from my house that used to demo props. At that time the boat had 26p labbed maximus props. I could only get around 5000 rpm out of them and my engines really needed more rpm. So I tried a set of stock 25 revolutions. What I immediately noticed was the boat planed easier (less throttle) , less vibration planing too. I don't recall the cruise numbers but, was able to pull them to around 5400 and gained around 4 mph over the labbed 26 maximus that costed over 3k with all the work to them. The boat actually felt better at wot too. Like more on rails. With the maximus it felt kinda loose, like too much stern lift or something
I then tried a set of 27 mirage plus props. Took forever to plane with them. Actually lost top end with them. Best I could get was about 66, where the revolutions got me 72-73. My Formula was weird though. The drives were a bit high for a TRS application. I think the boat came with ssm ii drives and someone put trs on it which would have raised the propshaft a bit.
Anyhow, I was really impressed with the revolution props.
