Yes,
Please do so. I have been using one for 5 years (since we started these) with no issues.
Thanks Dean.

They make a zipper lube. I use them on my paint booths, there is only a few zipper manufactors in the world.

Any canvas shop should be able to replace the zippers. Go with a heavy duty YKK.

What is the cost difference for a custom logo?

bbladesprops 09-08-2014 07:11 PM

We are using heavy duty zippers. Like I said, we have had no issues with the zippers till this thread made me aware of the 2 issues so far. I guess if 2 failures occur within the volume we have sold, I'm not concerned.

Zipper lube makes a ton of sense!

The custom covers are $150 for a set where the standard covers are $80 for a set. The cost difference is for processing of the art work and because of the incredibly small run quantity.
But, we think $75 for a custom usable in any condition propeller cover is a great deal and investment. We are quite proud of this product.

I have zipper lube sticks and that is not the problem here, these zippers won't start. I just called Brett and left a message for him.

I thought zipper lube was booze for the wife on date night. I didn't know it came in stick form. :party-smiley-048:

Nice talking to you. I guess out of the volume of covers, there's bound to be a zipper failure. We are using the YKK's.
I'll call you when the cover and prop arrive.

Thank you,
Brett
