Prop for Formula 252
 

I have a 1993 Formula 252 with a 454mag, Bravo1 drive (1.5 gears) and a 19P labbed Rev4. With optimum trim and water conditions, I can get 5200 rpm at 50 mph. I'd like to drop rpms down to around 4800 and increase top speed. I'm considering a 21P Rev4, 21P Mirage Plus and a 22P Bravo1. Any opinions on the best prop would be appreciated. What performance are others getting with similar setups ?

I would try the bravo 22 four blade, I run one one my 242 ls that has been labbed a little and I just have the 454/350 hp.

Thanks for the input. I talked with BBlades and they suggested a 22P Bravo to start. Then see what is does for rpms and speed and I could send it back go be labbed.from there. What do you get for rpms and top speed ?

At about 4500-4600 rpm best I got GPS was 56. But normally I am cruising about 32-3500 I the low thirties. I think you will like this prop. Let us know how you make out.

Ok thanks, I'll Iet you know how I make out. Like you, I'm from MA and the season is coming to an end. I won't get a chance to try this prop until spring. Where do you usually boat ?
