Prop decision
 

27 Fountain non step dyno sheet 712hp 692 ft lbs torque. At 5400rpm. I was running a 1.36 bravo 24 pitch labbed bravo prop.
Out drive broke I put a 1.5 drive on it and as you can imagine it will spin it to the moon. I have been looking for a 28 pitch and have found a 31 labbed . I know the 31 was for a specific boat or set up do you think it is to much for my setup.
I spent a bunch on the engine over the winter trying to get by until I can get the 1.36 back

I have a stock 30 inch LH Bravo One for sale. Might be just the ticket.

OK, thought maybe you were running a lh as I have heard Fountains often like lh props.

Same here been 5 weeks since it was in the water. Hopefully it's going to get better

I would use BBlades test program.

Every 27' Fountain we ever sold came from the factory with a LH prop.

I have a 28 Spinelli that I borrowed to try out on mine but haven't had time yet and I'm getting a 28 Bravo to test soon also. Let me know if you want to try one and we can meet up sometime if the level and debri gets better.

Hydromotive has a great prop test /exchange program so you can try the correct prop before you waste money on something that doesn't work, good guys to work with.
