Boating Season might be over... Prop damage...
 

So, I noticed a slight vibration at slow speeds and low rpms with the starboard motor a couple weeks back. I normally check the leading edge of my props and there are a few minor little nicks so I know that it should be addressed. Got back from the Buffalo Run yesterday and tucked the boat away. Checked on it today and saw two small tears in the trailing edge of my starboard prop.... Not sure if it can be repaired or if I will need a new prop...

I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow. Thanks for the input guys. The consensus in the prop section is that the prop is toast. I'm sure it has all 520 plus hours on it for that motor...

I've seen props looking far worse than that get repaired and last a lifetime!
Easy repair for the pros IMO.

Shogren has some used ones at a good price.

I would call Murphy's Propeller in Virginia Beach, VA. I have had them blue print numerous props, and their machine shop can fix almost anything, not just hot-rod props, but all props, and they are good at what they do.

Call Murphy's, if they are not swamped, they will have it done in a day, I have I have driven to VA beach, had them blue print, thin the leading edge, and cup a set of, 27" Mirages for the Magnum , and all of these for the Phantom 30" Bravos, 32" Bravos, and then 34" Bravos, most of the time, they did it in a few hours. Repairing your prop ids what they do, they fix props, they are good at what they do, might as well send both so they can beblue printed, matched, all in the same day, fact not fiction. You might go faster when it is all said and done, get them matched.
