Help on thrown blade

Threw a blade on a mercury racing 5 blade 17.5 x 36 pitch.. 21 degree rake..850 hp prop...running 800 hp thru it. Looking at the hub where blade broke off..looks like it was a manufacturer flaw..any help from previous experience would be helpful.

You'd have to approach Mercury Racing on that.
They have not made the 850HP for a number of years so I'm sure the warranty is expired.
Unfortunately propellers do have a life expectancy. You don't know when they may fail. Duty cycle is huge.

That prop has been cracked for some time. Break the blade off the other side and run it.:whistle:
