Quicksilver Solid Hub Prop, Bravo 1 Drive *Thrust Washer*

Hello,

I made the conscious decision to purchase a solid hub 23P Quicksilver prop for my 454MAG, Bravo 1. Im starting to think the other 23 P Quicksilver Mirage prop I had was modified and not getting me in the rpm range I wanted. Stamped with an "FB" before part #.

My main concern is I do not have a thrust washer for the "new" solid hub prop (48 13246 A5 23P). The hub part is of a smaller diameter than my other prop (48 13704 A41 23P). I put the solid hub prop on the drive for poops and giggles and it fits great without any washer.

I was able to tighten it down without issue, but I didnt drop her in the water. So do I need a thrust washer for it?

Thanks

Yes you do.
It may be already on the prop. Remove it and look.
Here is a link to the part you need available on our wed site.

Got it. It wasn't on the prop but a local prop shop luckily had the one I needed.

I ran the solid hub at 65.5mph @ 4800 rpm. Looking to get another 200-300 out of it.

You can send it to us for Lab work and we can get the 200 rpm you need.
