I ran a 24 Bravo 1 on mine. It would run about 65mph.

Our new 4-SPEED 15.5 diameter 4 blade is a good option.
If you desire cruise speed specific, we would build you a custom 5 blade from a Mercury Maximus casting. Brett Jj, I see you have a new marketing technique. There is a honorable route. Pay to advertise. |
Check ConnerOutlaws previous post. I pretty sure it's the same thing each time. Then check Bretts post and see who gives more info for free to members of OSO. Then you can decide who would be better to deal with. The guy who helps everyone with good facts and knowledge or someone pushing a friend's company who isn't giving free facts and knowledge.
Bblades all the way in my opinion |

Forgot to ad, boat currently has 4 blade bravo 1 24 engine turning 4800 WOT 58mph GPS.
|
I wonder if your prop has ever been adjusted or repaired. Your slip % is 18%. That is too high. I would like to see you at 12% but under 15% would be acceptable.
I suggest you test one of the new BBLADES 4-SEED propellers. They are a larger diameter and should aid in your slip issue. Call us if you are interested. Brett |
I no there isn't an exact answer you can give , but with the 4-speed prop over the current bravo 1 24p prop expected gain in top speed? I'm a little disappointed with the 58mph thanks
|
Is it an open bow too? Unfortunately I don't think you're going to get much more than 60mph out of a stock 502. The BBlades 4-speed prop would be good, as would a Revolution 4. A 5 blade will give the best cruise speed, but will be a couple mph slower on the top end. What RPM are you spinning the 24p Bravo?
The 27 Victory just isn't a very fast boat, but it is roomy, stable, and predictable, great family boat. |
The answer is yes if the slip number goes down and it should.
Call us any time and we can go through some options. Brett |
