New #6 props, what HP level?

So my motors are supposedly @ 980hp, what Merc #6 props should I go with? 900hp or 1200hp?

Im not sure there is a perfect answer. Prop size isn't just horsepower. Hull, X dimension, desired RPM to name a few factor into it.

I think he's referring to the series in which the props come in. They are offered in 600 hp, 900 hp, 1200 hp and 1550 hp power ratings

Oh, ok I always assumed the series matched up somewhat to the horsepower. 600 series, 600 horsepower.........Yes, no? I don't know!!!!!!!
