Prop Starting point
Have a 04 Eliminator 300 eagle xp,bought with no power. Dropped in a set of 620hp 540's with 1.36 XR Drives with 1" spacer. What size prop should I start with? Never had 1.36 ratio drives on anything so no idea where to start.I have a set of stock 30p 4-blade bravo 1's,But I think they are way to big for the 1.36 ratio,Thanks!!!

The starting point is those 30 inch props. More than likely too much pitch, but if they can get you on plane, you might get an idea how much too much. Any data you can get will help to more accurately pick the next set.

Finally got the boat out for a run, with the 30's it got on plane fairly quick with a little blow out at 3000 rpm.Drives tucked, boat was real flat.very sensitive to trim, realy freed up with a little trim.cruised 55mph @ 4000.roll into it and it accelerates hard and hits 82 @5000 in no time but starts to bow hop and chine walk.take some trim out and it coms down.boat feels like it realy wants to go! didn't try messing with the tabs to see if it would help.gona give Brett @ BBlades a call tomorrow. What you guys think? Thanks!!!!!

You have hit 5000. Means they are not too big. Surprised me. Pleasantly. Woulda sucked if you bought a pair of 26's and had to pull power as it was going by 6500. Blade count may a factor in making it more user-friendly. This is gonna be a touchy, sensitive, frisky boat. Long learning curve on trim and tabs. Might wanna try pulling the spacers to see how much worse it gets. Where do you run it?

Labbing the 30's to 5300 with added rake might be the ticket.
I do believe tabs might still be required in small quantities.
We have test props available. I believe our new 4-SPEED 4 blades might be a good test.
