eplacing my 502mpi with a fresh 555 making around 650hp. Current drive setup is a bravo with 1.5 ratio and dual external steering rams. Boat is a 26 foot ( 99 model so really 24 foot running surface ).

Turning a 27 pitch hydromotive to 5k with the current setup. Question is will this still be enough given the new horsepower ? New power is looking to be around a 5400-5500 rpm at wot.
