Default "Mercury Marine Bravo 1" prop vs "MerCruiser Bravo 1" prop

I have 2 props both Sainless Steel and both have the same reference 48-831914 but one says "Mercury Marine Bravo 1" the other says "Mercruiser Bravo 1"
I not prop expert
I just need to know if these 2 props are the same??
is it just 2 different brands that were stamped at different times or is there a real difference?
thanks
I.

My guess is one was made to be installed on a large Mercury OB and the other on a Mercruiser, both use the same 15 tooth shaft (marketing)

Thanks my guess was also that same part number must be same specs !
also thought there is some marketing reason only.

I am in this situation because I broke my propshaft and lost the prop need to fix my lower unit and check the drive then I will let you know when I test the props that says “mercury marine” .

Props will run quite similar. Can be a tiny bit of cupping differences.
Main difference is the bore for the flotorq insert is .25" deeper on the Mercruiser and requires a different kit.
I won't go into the reasoning behind it but there was only about 2 years of the Mercruiser casting with a flotorq 2 inner hub.

Your welcome. Was also going to tell you. The Mercruiser trademark was the original casting and as time went on the Mercury Brand was put on to put the props under one brand as we were using the Bravo 1 propeller on sterndrives and outboards.
The Mercury label was a super session so the 2 different brands were never produced at the same time.
