Prop Recommendations 29' Profile Twins with Notched Transom
29' Profile running Bravo one drive 1:50 gears looking for prop recommendations It has twin 7.4L L29 mpi motors, notched transom I'd like good out of the hole and decent 60'sh top end Thinking Bravo one 22p four blades???
|
I would think it will run upper 60's easily. I would start with 24" Bravo 1 props or maybe even 26's depending on what rpm you want to spin the engines.

Thanks
Thanks for the info Griff - it's a pretty heavy boat and the motors are only 310hp so not sure I can spin the 26's. Next question - setting up the drive rotations - Rotating Outward or Inward?

Spin them out
Being 310hp, you are only going to spin them up to about 4600 rpms so 26's may work fine. |

Once you are ready to test, we can help you with test propellers. We have some BBLADES branded props we can supply you to test as well. You can easily test inward and outward rotations. Brett |
Thanks!
Thanks for the update Brett! I'll definitely keep you posted! Quick question - on the Bravo One 4-blade props - I see some with ventilation holes (approx 3/4" - 1" diameter) on the diffuser - better 'out-of-the-hole' performance??
|
I highly doubt you would need or even see any benefit from props with ventilation holes.
