That is correct and 5 inches below is a good all around depth for good performance without having to worry about the prop blowing out.

I would guess that the original X Dim was closer to 15" with the prop closer to 7" below the bottom. Prop Tech has come a long way and the original boats were prob was set up to run a 3 blade prop.

Also with my prop selection, would there be any benefit in considering a more expensive 5 blade maximus prop over the standard bravo 1 four blade?

Measurement could be a bit off. Yes I'm happy with it but I do need to run 4 blades (or 5) and you will lose bow lift running it that high.
