may need to take a skillsaw to the bottom and cut in some steps,they make every thing faster.of coarse,,glass up the bottom to make it water tight or have really good insurance.

I have a 1995 Hallett 240S, closed bow (no steps) with the 415HP 502MAG, bored .20 over when rebuilt. I had a 21P 3 blade Bravo for years and then stepped up to a 22P four blade Bravo. With me and one passenger, I hit an honest 60 MPH on GPS but am hitting the rev limiter and so I back off from WOT. I'm wanting to try my buddy's 24P Bravo to see how that runs. With your 300HP 454 and almost the same size boat, you maybe should try a 19P to see if you can hit the higher RPM. Seems you will see a better hole shot, especially with a higher load in the boat. Worth a try, huh? Good luck and be safe...
