Turning out or turning in?

I'm looking at a boat that has the props turning out. The owner said that with the props turning out the boat will be more stable. With the props turning in the boat will get more lift and be a bit faster. I am new to all of this. What has been your experience experts?

I'm told out is better for all-around use. Thats what mine are. Left turns left, right turns right.

my Scarab with deep V are faster with turning in. But better for docking are tuning out the best selection.

Spinning in creates more bow lift which a 29 Fountain with twins should not need. IMO, leave them spinning out.

Most fountains except the twin step side by side 35's had them in.
Try it, on my 32 large step I have tried both.

Out maybe 1-2 less top end (not a big deal) but in the mid range wanted to porpoise more and just didn't feel as good.

In (the way I have had them for many years now) top speed was a little better but the boat feels much more stable in the mid range.

Docking for me didn't seem different BUT you have to trim out when docking so the water goes under the boat. If not it just hits the transom and doesn't go anywhere.
