Wellcraft 233 eclipse
 

I have a wellcraft 233 eclipse -91. Engine is a 5.7 mercruiser, alpha one drive. I dont know what prop i have now, but it revs 3200 on full throttel and the top speed is about 32 mph. Anyone who has a suggestion on what prop i shall have on this boat?

Welcome to OSO, there are a number of factors that could be the problem. Did you just get the boat?

Yes just got the boat. The prop on the boat now is a 13 3/4 " and 21 pitch.

You trimming out once on plane?
Previous owner share any insight about it? As in speeds and whatnot.

In the mean time,
With a 1.47 gear a 17”is more likely what would come in that boat. Did you do a google search for 91 Wellcrafft 233 Eclipse specifications ?

as a note and example: Not many small lighteeight boats with stock 260hp mer came with 21” props. And your boat is quite big snd heavy.

Is it a 15x17 that i shall have? Have a 15x19 that came whit the boat. Shall try that prop next season. Now the boat is on land and we waiting for winter here in sweden :(
