Baja Force vs. Cleaver

Hello from Catalunya/Spain!

Has anyone here ever tested a 23p Cleaver on a Baja Force 235 (1988)?
My boat has a 7.4L Bravo (330hp).
So far I've only tested one Mirage 23 and I don't know if it's worth buying a used cleaver ...?

Opinions about it?

Hola amigo!

Cleavers props they are designed to reach the surface. They are very happy running with Arneson drives.

The main idea of the cleavers is that they run as higher as posible, also spinning as faster as possible. You would need also long gear relation and as much as posible HP.

For a ride like yours, you can take look of Mirage Plus, “plus” refers to “coupled propeller”. This propellers can reach the same speed of 1” more at top end, but not loosing other specs.

Anyway if once you find a friend who can let you try a Cleaver, maybe you can get a very happy results.

In this wet world, nothing is a fact, till we try it!

Javier.
