8.2HO Prop Advice
 

Looking for some advice on how to break the 70mph mark with my 235ss crownline with the 8.2HO 430hp. Currently running a bravo 3X Drive with 2.0 gears. 24P 4x3 combo runs 64-65mph at 5000-5100 rpms. Tried some 28P 3x3 combo and lost to many rpms and overall speed. Those 28P ran 62mph at 4570rpms. Looking to break the 70mph mark with this boat hopefully. Sadly whipple does not offer a stage 2 tune anymore so I'm limited on upgrades. Running corsa side exit exhaust that's stripped down with no Baffles or cats. Bad part is I'm at 116 decibels off the line on a meter right now so it's a bit loud in the back of the boat. Overall the bravo 3 is the hitting the brakes on this boat hard imo.


Just looking for some advice. Also going to call B Blades this week to see what they say.
