Stamps on Prop

SO I just purchased a 288 Sunsation, 525efi with Bravo XR and ITS. Previous owner didnt have much info to offer about the prop but it has these stamps on it, I would think the 25 means it was labbed to a 25? Does Glauser ring a bell as someone who may have done the work on it or is that maybe just a customers name?

Numbers indicate a Bravo One 4 blade? But evidently reworked by 'Glauser' to 25 pitch?

Thanks, just to clarify I meant to say the aftermarket stamps, 25 and Glauser.

Dagah2x,

Yup. Pretty sure that's what Bajaman meant. I have no idea who Glauser is, but it makes sense.

Thanks. Brad.

Have you had a chance to run the boat yet? Usually when one takes time to have a prop labbed, it means a pretty serious, dedicated owner who is somewhat meticulous about his boat.

I have not unfortunately, I brought it home last week and its snowmobile season here in NY so I have a 5 month wait. I was hoping to maybe get some info on what was done to it since im that dedicated owner that will have a prop labbed and it would be super helpful to know where its at now because I cant leave anything alone....haha

You've got a powerful engine which SHOULD spin that prop to 5200, or about 75 mph. My 'guess' would be the previous owner like a better "hole shot" than what the 26" gave stock so had it labbed. So after the LOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG winter (lol!) when you get in on the water I assume you'll get your baseline readings/performance with this set up and then start 'tinkering'! Have fun!
