When did this section show up? . . . . . hmmmm . . . . cool :cool:

It showed up in the last day or so. I saw an email where OSO is adding some new forums and this must be one of them.

However, I think that restoration projects should be under the appropriate manufacturers forum and not buried in a general purpose forum.

Think this is in response to sprink58's thread about magazines with do it yourself restoration and/or build projects.

This is great. I don't go to many different manufacturers section, and I like to see what people have done to some old beauties to keep them alive. :

Shoot my Panther has been a restoration/work in progress since I bought it. Guess I'll have to get a thread going.

From a past forum owner and Admin, spread out in different maker forums will be lost. This is a good idea. Just wish a couple of the ones I posted in the classic section where here. I think the main thing that needs to be changed though is the "upgrade" part. Some folks think going to a better grade of oil is considered an upgrade. Should be for "major upgrades" only.

I had gotten an email stating that there was going to be some changes to the forums last week and I responded with the following message. I can only imagine that I was far from the only one asking for this.

Hello and I am glad to see that you are doing more to the site because it's good to have change and keep things fresh. I would like to make one request and I am actually surprised that this wasn’t already a category on here but I would like to have a forum about projects. This should be a place that anyone either doing a restoration and or just some changes and updates should be able to post pictures and discus the project further.

looks like its time for me to finally post my build :)

Good Deal!!! I like it. It will help us all share ideas that are common to any restoration... irrespective of brand.

I'll have to see if I can dig up the pics of the Pantera being done over.

Sweet new section!

This is cool, just found it. Of course, I am 14 pages into the rebuild on my 272 Formula..... Hmmm.

Maybe I will start a thread just to point to the formula section thread? Would that be acceptable? That way if someone searches in this section for something comparable, it would pop up and direct them to the established thread.

I think I found a new section I will like....
