This Old Sutphen

Well, "Past Performance" has been apart for a while and it's time to start working on it. We have a lot going on at the moment, so this may take a while. To start, however, I wanted to get some input on some of the issues I can see off the bat. I realize the most prudent course of action may be to have the hull checked for moisture with a meter, but I figured I'd post some photos and see what the collective thought is.

A few thoughts:
-I assume the bottom should at a minimum be re-painted/re-gelled?
-Can the stringers be fixed or should they be replaced? If so, how? They don't appear to be rotten despite their other issues.
-Should I just break out a can of gas and a match? :lolhit: :poopoo:

Thanks!
David

Hi David, Where on the Cape are you?

We boat out of Falmouth harbor, but the boat is stored at our shop in Middleboro.

David - you said it would take awhile.... almost 7 years later, done yet?
