No worries. Good luck on the motor build, don't forget external steering!

Mike, I used dupont products and after pulling it out of the water for the season I found it had all bubbled under the water line. Not too happy with it now!

Yes I have seen alot of paint bubble underwater. They always ask me when I bought imron if it was underwater. What did you use from Dupont? And what did you use to prime and paint the engine. that looks sweet.

I used chromapremier sealer then chromabase and chromapremier 72200 clear for the exterior paint. The engine was cleaned up and then I sprayed a light coat of vari-prime self etch down followed by epoxy sealer and base/clear.

I ran a 23 Mirage with my old motor and never got any good numbers out of it cause it had been repaired and slipped like crazy. I built a new motor for it (mild 454, rectangle ports, mild cam and intake) and I tried a 25 Mirage plus and got 65 out of it on flat water and 4600 RPM. I ended up purchasing a hydromotive qiv-x 24p. It should be showing up today and I'm hoping to give it a test tomorrow!
