Water Pickup Location
 

I need help locating the right spot for my new raw water pick up. Its a latham Pickup, The boat is a 2005 Donzi 26ZX. Single engine wit a right hand 29" Hydromotive prop. The area near the drain plug is not tall enough to fit the pickup there, what about the spots I marked on the transome drawing in red?

someone out there has got to know something about this

Both places you marked are too far out.. In your application I would go with a thru hull in the bottom..

needs to be closer to the plug,3 to5 inches on either side angled or straight down. then adjust to get the water pressure right,

Why do you need the water pick-up? Isn't just the drives water enough?
