Here's a link to an album I made. I wouldn't really call it a restoration more of an updating

Very cool resto. I remember it being for sale at the dodge dealer in hillsdale. What did you use for the car on fiber on the dash panels?

The big dash panel I used this veneer http://www.dragonplate.com/ecart/categories.asp?cID=12
With a lexan backer. The smaller panels I just ordered a sheet of 1/4" made up and cut it to size

What kind of top speed are you getting out of your 32? I just got same hull, building 540 blower motors for this summer.

Looks great 32, a lot better than it did...almost bought that boat, before I bought the Cig, was it the one at the car dealership?. looks like it went to the right person...doing the same thing to mine, got to luv those project boats:lolhit:

Wasn't that featured as their brochure boat??

A friend of mine here in NJ was the original owner of that boat. I went to the factory with him a few times when it was being built. He was a big M. J. fan....thus the name Rare Air !

I've got 92-3 so far with a little left, the boat becomes a real handful after about 85. I hear once you hit mid nineties they smooth back out?

Yep that was the one, I knew it was gonna be a project, but it was very useable from the day I brought it home I've just been fixing and upgrading as I go.

I talked to Charlie after I bought the boat, I never asked where the name came from though. I always assumed it was some sort of cruel joke because that boat does not like to stay in the water.
