What speeds are you looking to get out of this thing when all said and done?

Hang a bunch of dock bumpers off the side of it ,go practice your come in sideways drift dockside docking on a tuesday when noone is looking , and those transmissions will last beyond forever.
I know a guy here with a 70'cat that does it seamless every time and never fails to impress me.
Real crowd pleaser with the onlookers and very do-able with your rig.
and that thing is going to be loud at wot

Hi Guys, I have been abroad for a couple of months, but back now to finish the project. A lot of work had been done to the boat, altough it doesnt look like it. All the wiring has been renewed, Same for the water and hydraulic lines. The dashboard is installed, all new meters. This week were finishing the sound system and the interior. Last Saturday the plan finally came together and we launched the boat. My son made a youtube video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gRlvU2ZgFc
(link doesnt work on all cellphones)

It was a very exiting day, first the launching of the boat, would it be doable with a car? The weight of the boat compared to the car is kinda scary. But that was no problem at all, she went in smooth.

Then the big question if she would run and how the boat would react on the sea and especially the big waves. I have no experience at all with a Catamaran. But it was perfect, have been boating for a long time, but never had something that would cut waves like this baby. Very, very impressed. The boat is very easy to drive, reacts great on the steering and the engines run perfect. Also had no experience with the Arneson outdrives, but I already love them, something definitely is happening when you hit the throttle with those!

Question: When I put the outdrives all the way down, it did not had the huge rooster tale but my speed got up. I always thought it was the other way around, trimming the engines, rises the bow of the boat and increased the speed, but that was not the case? What does this mean?

Then the last piece of the puzzle, getting her out of the water with a Ford Raptor. Also that went great, a little pushing with the boat itself and she came out without any problems.

It took us more then a year to rebuild her, it off course was not a daytime job, but it took a lot of time and headaches. In the end, I guess like almost any project, it costed way more time and money than planned, but now I tried her, it was well worth it!

If you have to have the drives fully down to get speed the you need more diameter and or pitch. Speed numbers and rpm will tell you what it needs.

Looks great !
