I would add that my original drives looked to be mounted pretty deep.

This all depends on where you want your propshafts to be. How aggressive, conservative, etc. Will there be boxes? Is it a notched transom? What kind of power going in it?

Ssm is moved 3" towards the transom when going from plug in trs, to plug in Ssm, driveline could be left in place and adjust driveshaft length
