Sequential turbos on this one. Cat figured out that they work great on boats during the stillborn C145/C140 program

When I first met some of the guys at Innovation , they were working on sequential turbos but later abandoned it for singles for some reason.

Fixed a few leaks and made it back out on the water today. The new underwater camera works great. However my attempts at getting some prop footage have failed again... Suction cup mounted to the cav plate, with safety wired to the air tube. According to that footage, popped off before we even got up on plane. Then mounted under swim platform, water out the tail pipes completely blocks that view. Tomorrow gonna try on trim the tab again. That's best view we got on old drives.

Brought it up to about 3/4 throttle for a couple miles. Can feel there is more load on the engines now, but still cruises nice at 83mph.

I'd like to continue our dmax testing with sequential turbos again one day. The midrange power was great, egt was reasonable. But we just had two big a set and not enough cubes to get em lit over 37lbs of boost. After realizing the issue, Banks threw us a bone on sizing he had sucess with. So we know where to start testing next time.

Nope. But keeping that option open for big power on the top end once everything else is worked out.

Broke new records yesterday with a 20 mile sunset cruise. And the drives never gave us a bit of trouble, that's different.

For the forth attempt at gathering some drive height data, we opted for a pole-mount camera. Ten foot pole to be exact. Still can't get a clear line of sight on them, but am now certain they are running deep. Cruising between 60-82mph, you can see pretty decent view around the 5 minute mark in video below.

Great video, boom camera was a good idea.

Let the on water tests really begin, seems very likely to me based off the last post of 83 mph under 4k rpm (dont know max rpm, 5000?).
there will be a significant increase of speed as you get closer to the best prop and height, i'm pulling for 100.
