Finding decent alternative SS hardware for 33C cables is an issue. Probably should put a set screw or some safety tie wire tie around those clamps as a backup. The quick release ball / socket ends are pretty proven design.

BR I bet your buddy doesn't have to walk on his house windows either.. Imagine stubbing your toe on a 1/4" high glass corner, [cause obviously be in bare feet] then ya trip and fall on one of those tempered plates.
Yesterday I sent the the shop owner pictures of where the glass measured out of spec by 1/2", along with how much I paid to have them reset. Ask for a couple hundred refund on the CC since the glass obviously wasn't as ordered, but the other guy still made it fit. He basically told me to piss off and don't contact him again. So maybe I'll share his cell # with a couple of these aholes who call me up every day offering 50k in business funding...
Now back to adjusting these digital drive trim indicators to within 0.1deg of each other. JUST BECAUSE I CAN !!

Think I spot a great business opportunity here bor. We can recover my losses and your boat re-paint job cost in just a few months.
For $29.95 I'll have someone call 10 of the worlds most annoying telemarketing agencies, pose as a person of your choice, then act very interested in what ever service they are peddling.. By the time that phone number gets passed around, should be good for about 30 or so spoofed ID calls per day, over the next year..
I'll bet we could charge $100 or more for a VIP package, which could include being added to 10 best spam lists, a fake Tinder profile, and a special bonus that profile link anonymously given to a spouse of your choice ... We'll both be sporting new MTI's by next summer. LOL

I came across that site after lots of looking when I rewired my Donzi motor and put in a whole new dash. I keep it saved in my favorites for things like this, and if I need it for any other boats
