To who can help me in anyway. Hello, I have a 92 fountain 27 ft no steps in the hull, I am installing a 750 hp 555 ci , and my question is ...I would like to up grade my 280 k planes to 380s ?, replace the lower drive with a 2inch IMCO shorty, and possibly put a stellings extension box....I currently have a bravo 1 drive ....All this was a suggestion from some very nice boat guys in key West ....Is all this logically the right way to go and any suggestions on what prop to start with

It all depends on your drives gear ratio. and has the motor been on a dyno?

Drive ratio is 1.50 and it's was on a dyno just over 750 HP

I would start with a 32p 4 blade bravo I or a 30p 5 blade maximus

Thank you , do you think the drive can handle a 5 blade?
