dash upgrade / need some pro glass advice

thank you in advance for any pro advice on this.

so on the top layer ive been told that i'm overthinking it.

i have 10 yards of #7725 8.5 oz 2 x 2 twill weave high comform-ability and drape-ability from us composites.

the dash is 1/8 inch thick and i have it taper ground around were i have to tab in the divinycell also it has to be covered.

the underside of the divinycell has 2 layers of 1708, and is tabbed in w/ 2 layers of 1708

way up in the fairing there wasn't much room to get up there and sqee gee so i had a bunch of csm cut up in various size bandages that i dry rolled into place on top of the 1708 to help pull out any extra resin and what the hell throw more glass at it.

as of today you can get up on the divinycell to get to the deck

big question is what is probobly gonna be the best material and technique to cover and tab together the top finish side ?

the dash was blue imron, now i'm thinking keeping it white gel, can i go gel over gel or do i gotta take the existing gel all the way down ?,
if so, since the dash was painted and it could be repainted

it's the real tight radius stuff that is holding me off going w/ 1708,

ground it back a little further and ended up w/ 2 layers 1708, 6 pieces, overlapped at what would be the cabin hatch gutter.
dry rolling and sqee gee worked fine, never would have thought 1708 would turn tight inside then outside curves but it did, or i got real lucky
