Donzi Z33 Question...anybody?
 

1987 Z33 twin 465 mercs. - pristine classic or maybe not.

I went to charge the batteries today, lifted the engine hatch and the bolts that hold the hydraulic ram came free from the center stringer. I always thought that their was a solid 9 x12 beam that ran from the transom to the bow. is that not the case? Did my beam rot and completely disappear.

Most likely it runs to a bulk head that is under the rear seat, I took my z-21 apart many years ago it was an 86, and totally shot. Goo luk and a big project it you take it on go to Donzi.net for some support

I plan on clearing the engine compartment and removing all the rot. Hopefully the rot is confined to the stringers and has not migrated into the transom. Hopefully I can find a yard to replace the stringers when ready for under 12K
