B85- there will be a couple layers over the whole stringer - new and old - to tie them together

315D- yes the transom is off yet. Much easier to get in and out of the boat. Just step into the bilge instead of up and down a ladder.

Round two success! Next is to let it cure for a bit and fill some more holes in the mean time. Existing stringers need sanded down then the final layers can cap the whole length of old and newhttps://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...60f800f28.jpeg

Sanded the paint off the existing stringers and skimmed a coat of epoxy / cabosil where the final cover coats of glass will wrap the whole stringers. Hoping it will be cured to sand with some low grit paper and slap some glass at it Friday.

This summer has been stupid busy and after welding all day at work in 90 degrees high humidity the last thing I wanted to do was sand in the barn at home. Will pick back up again now that it’s cooling off

I hear ya brother. I saved my pennies this summer and just put in a full shop HVAC system. June-sept is just pure misery after a full day at work

I’m looking at doing that now.
The summer heat makes it miserable.
