Tell me about it !!!!!!!!!! :( Summer is not that far away & will creap up on me soon. Although it shure doesn't feel like it , I am freezing but I am shure I am not going to get too much sympothy about beeing cold from you bunch of snowbirds.

That is called Deitz yellow. Special formulation known only to JD, Doug and Finishmaster. Now they have made a Deitz Black. NK

Not yet , The only thing I have done to the boat besides druel on it & burn imaginary gas is find the center point of the transom & put 4 new gas shocks on the engine hatch. Other than that it has just sat in our climate controlled shop & looked fast. You are more than welcome to send me a PM. Like I said before my ears are always open. I really love this boat & I realize as well as anybody that boats like this don't come around too often, & I try not to get completly attached to any materialistic thing this world has to offer. However you better hurry up because I am counting my pennies & the 540 Konrad is looking closer & closer.

What kind of outdrive are you looking for DC?

I have found what I want. The drives I have been considering are 3a's , #4's , #5's , Although I always really prefered the Konrad for a couple of reasons.

A friend maybe selling 3a's with drive, gimbal, and transmission. He had a pair of both 3a's and 3's complete. If you want , I can see what he wants for them. It may be short money.

I am pretty sold on a deal I have working on a Konrad , However I would consider a 3a setup if the price was right & it was in really good shape. I only need 1 rt. hand drive as I am going with a big single in the boat. Send me a PM anytime with the info & price. Or my regular email is :

Thanks Kirk , I know you are excited ( to say the least ) about getting your boat completed. You are no doubt going to have a first class ride , along with an extremelly fast one.
No Excuses ran 104 or 105 before I got her & you will probably be somewhere in that ball park yourself + or - a mph or so. :cool:
Either way it will be WAY fast for a 28' REAL offshore boat. & as you know it will run like a beast in virtually ANY water. :D Kinda like a Saber !!!

I got the info. I drive(s) is No.III Speedmaster. Not a 3A. $3500 for a single drive and $2500 for a single gimble and transom plate. Hope this helps.

You should get that gimble and transom plate and buy the like new 40hour 3A and transmission from Sweden! :rolleyes:

Thanks guys , Yeah I seen those #6's They probabbly won't last long if they check out ok. I would be interested 1 of them if a gimble & transom assy. wouldn't cost about the same.:(
