Thanks for posting Storm. I'm looking for a 26-30 foot single engine boat that is good in the rough.
It would be a replacement for my 24' Superboat that I recently totaled by stuffing a big power boat wake.
I have the engine and drive to use from that so I'm looking for a boat without power.
Thanks,

Check with Pantera24, He had a nice 26 Martini with a sbc and alpha that was priced as if it had no power. It would be way easy to replace a sbc/alpha with a BBC Bravo, just add two bolt holes, transom cutout is the same.

I think this is the one that was for sale last year or so. Where did it go???

That's the first one I had 'em build in 94 . It is back up there in the Grand Haven Mi. area somewhere . I think Nykamp knows where it is . 454's and Bravo's . Was in the HotBoat Perf. Reviews March '95 . Fun boat !

I heard it went to California also. I think the guy that bought it owns the 1989 twin engine 28 also.

I am pretty sure there is a yellow 28 out west b/c I saw a distant picture of the boat in Extreme Boats mag. at the Havasu poker run.

Jerry : what did yours have in it for power ?
I know the yellow & black boat that was forsale alittle over a year ago on here had 330's in it. Is that your old boat ?

I belive there was another yellow 28 that had carbed 500's but wasn't it yellow with a deep purple stripe ( looked black in pics. ) I know it belonged to a member here but without digging up old threads I can't remember who's boat it was .

The first one in pic above had 330's ... the second one had the 500's ( actually the old 496 that were bumped up to the HP500 specs.) they were both Yellow ans black ... the second one was yellow gel hull and deck , the first was a white boat with paint. Gotcha.... for some reason your pictures didn't post. I knew you previously owned 1 of them but did't know you had both of them. I pursued the 330 boat last year when I was looking , but missed it by a few days.

Just realized that the pic. you were talking about was the picture a few posts above...

We can be a bit slow here in the south...:grinser010:

1994 28 with twin 502's for 59K:eek: Didn't this boat belong to an OSO member. I wonder what they moved up to?

I sure wish they would start building some more 28's. Why did they stop making them?
