I bought a twin because I like to run the big lakes and never want to be without power. Nothing worse than sitting dead in the water on the great lakes, been there before. I think a single would be a bit better balanced, mine is a touch tail heavy, not enough to be a problem, but there. I have mixed feelings on the stance of the boat in the water, I like mine and think it looks pretty mean, but Mike's single looks great in the water too because you see more of the boat. I dont think you could go "wrong" with either. One plus with a single is the room to work on it, mine is very tight side to side. A pair of stout small blocks would be pretty cool, but there are trade offs there too. My previous experience with a big single was this, you need to build it to get the performance you want, then work on it more because of it. We will have to meet up this summer and I will take you out.

Getting the itch pretty bad! Once it starts to warm up I will be getting the old girl out and primp her some more.
I see you have WW for sale, moving up to something else? 47? ;)

Hey Guys, no on the 47. I like to trailer once in awhile. Thinking about a build or rebuild/resto. There are some cool old project boats out there.

nice pics, I am going nuts, I had a great surgery in dec and I will start work on mine in mid march outside and should be in the water by april. I am a head of my PT for my shoulder so I can wrench a little. Iplan on full dress of the motor next two weeks, when its done hope its warm enough to do glass work or I will sub it out to get the gas tank in. once its done drop motor in finish water lines and go. mine might sit lower than a regular single with the tranny/ext box and konrad. wondering if I should of put the tank in the floor like the twins with all the weight out back. I will post some pics soon on my thread its about time. can't wait to see what big power and a higher X will do on her.:coolcowboy:
