What are you guys running for props (28's)
I have been doing some prop testing, just kind of curious what everyone else is running and how they like what they have. Or if anyone has played around with some different stuff and what the results were.

running 30 pitch bravo/4 blades.
i have played with 3 blade vs 4 blades on other boats, not this one but i always thought the 4 blade was a better all around prop... just my .02 |

I just tested a set of 4 blades, lost almost 5mph top end and they porpise worse than the 3 blades. Much better out of the hole though, snappier mid range. Cruise speed at same RPM was just about equivalent. I think they have less bow lift than the 3 blades, so it takes even more speed to carry the bow while trimmed out without going into porpise mode. Pretty sure I am going to send my 3 blades out for labbing and adding some cup to carry the bow a little better. The 4 blades with labbing to the hull would probably be good all around and a touch slower, but I am not going to spend that kind of money just to try it.

I'd ask him his opinion about Rev 4's, if they make one large enough for your application.

He said they are worth a try but didnt have a set of test props in the right size.

I've been running labbed 23 since I got the boat. Of course mine is single, and not much for power. I've been thinking about a 24 for a little more bite.

Steve I run a 24 4 blade...never played with anything else on it. Get pretty good results I spent $200 this last winter and had it tuned which did nothing for me but make it look a bit better when it's on the trailer.

steve im running a 24 labbed on mine and doing 73 on the limiter we can hook up and give it a try on your boat before you purchase one. cwc you might of had someone work on it that didnt know how to do it right. i had my normal prop guy (for the cheap stuff) check the pitch on a prop, he tweeked it and polished to a mirror finish absolutly beautiful but i lost 6 mph he polished the cup out of it. send it to another place I would recomend bblades or dans prop shop
