I visited the old girl today and got some measurements. My tanks are appx. 43" from the inside of the transom. They are nested on each side of the center stringer and run all the way up to the bulkhead at the cabin entrance from what I could tell. They are appx 22 inches wide. Looks like they are completely glassed in on all sides, and based on how deep they set I would hazard a guess they are trapeziodal and are nested right down in the v of the hull.

Artie, I missed your post somehow... Sounded like an eventful thanksgiving weekend !!! hope your feeling better by now dude..

Eric Thanks for the measurement's bro & I have no doubt you enjoyed the trip visiting the ole gal !! I'm betting you even sat in the drivers bolster & nearly made noises..

So it looks as if my tanks are bout 13" forward of your boat, which makes seance.. Man as if keeping 80 gal full wasn't enough !! Maybe I'll fill my forward tanks 1/3 of the way full with water.. haha !!

Mine is sitting 25' away & I'm literally trying to find 2 days to work on it so I can send it a few hours west for a short stay... Been working on some cool-azz "boating related" projects in the past couple weeks so we'll see what happens in the next few, orso .. ;-)

I managed to get in some way past due Saber time over the weekend..:D:D
I basically just had several small things I wanted to get finished up before it left my hands for a little while..

Anyways all went well.. Here's a quick shot from today showing one of the saddle tanks, and how they will sit in the boat.. (They will of course be painted)

#^$%%&*** I just remembered Again that I need to renew my membership and that I cannot post pics here...

I can email the pic if somebody wants to post it for me

good to hear your working on it.TALKED to one of the glass guys, that races on here sunday. he agrees next step have the bottom rocker taken out. then run it with weight in the cabin again. if its getting better then Iwill put a new tank in the floor. also in feb going to send props to bret, to see if there stock or not. but I will not move the motor this year, that takes changing tail pipes= adding to them. a tranny change:eekdrop:, move old gas tank out and redo bulkhead.driveshaft. I will run it as is , then in the fall do the changes or sell the konrad and buy a imco with no box.:cartman:
