i hear what your saying , but $ 225 k is a LOT of coin for a 28 footer , shoot you can buy a outerlimits for less then that in that size range

it really doesn't matter how tuff it's built for that kind of money , back in 2005 I had a 28 pantera that was built just as tuff if not stronger , but when you jump into most 38 foot production gofast boat they will out run and handle a 28 footer in anything over 4 footer's . I had a brand new 35 Baja outlaw and also a used 38 sonic that would run circles around a 28 footer in anything over 4 foot sea's .
@ 65 mph the 28 footer would be air born most of the time where as the 35 and 38 where just breaking loose . if they can get anywhere close to the $ 200 k mark I give them a lot of credit just my 2 cents mike |

To compare..what do you figure a new Pantera would cost with twin 520s with ITS drives etc that will run 90mph

Agree, 29 Outerlimits is 200k give or take and it's a single. Yes it is faster and has more bling but is a lot less boat room/size/length wise. Not bashing it, looked it over at Miami and liked it just pointing out differences. What does a 520 with drive/transom/rigging run gotta be close to 50k retail. All that being said I don't think the market for new boats less than 38' is very strong these days.

And do not forget this is a real 28 foot boat, NOT a -2 foot swim platform boat that is on an aluminum trailer. |

Your comments run more to the ongoing debate about new vesus used and thats legitimate but their number this boat would eventually sell for will be at or below the market for a custom boat. A buyer of this boat will not be disapointed and that cant be said for evey new boat. NK |

I think sticker shock on any new boat is the likely response. Have you seen what new center counsels cost these days.
As with most things I assume someone will pay less than the posted number to get a great boat but it will be pricey no matter what NK |
