Any info on 1980 38 with the twin turbo setup
 

Does anyone have any info or knowledge of the 38's that came with the twin turbo and TRS tops/#2 SSM bottom setup? I owned this boat for 8 years now and cannot find any info on this setup. I assume it's an aftermarket. I have only found one other boat with this setup and they were identical. Including the 3 blade Seebold props. Who, where, why etc. Is it a limited edition? I figure if you guys don't know no one does. :mad:

I wonder if anyone makes kits for Turbo on the newer 502/454 MPI type motors?

there was one up here in NE back in the 80's, always thought motors were added. It was called Tuff Noogies, last saw for sale in FL and then Cali.

Thanks, 502SCS. That's great info. :D I knew there had to be some others out there. It's a great setup. I can run just under the turbos when I'm cruising but their there when some yahoo comes up along side and thinks he's gonna make me look bad. I'll post some pics as soon as I can. This new computer doesn't have anything on it yet. We just got a digital camera so a lot of my photos are still hard copies. no clue exactly how many, but mine has factory installed speedy II's and twin turbo's
